The Court is now accepting applications for the position of Building Operations Chief. This position is responsible for planning and directing the operations of the internal court security staff as well as implementing best practices in safety and security at all levels of the court. Responsibilities also include coordinating building maintenance and improvements. Job duties may necessitate working irregular hours.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, criminal justice, law enforcement, security or a closely related field, and/or 7 years full-time experience performing supervisory duties or highly responsible work relating to tasks assigned to this position, or any combination of education and experience, provided the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Minimum five years experience supervising security staff and/or operations, required. Experience in managing security within a court setting preferred, but not required. Prior experience with building trades preferred, but not required. Must be peace officer certified. Potential candidates must pass a background check. Starting salary is $68,519.36. Full salary is $76,132.16.
