Assistant County Prosecuting Attorney
The Delaware County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for the positions of assistant prosecuting attorney. The successful candidates will primarily be responsible for handling a felony docket, civil clients or a juvenile case load within the county. Excellent research and writing skills required. Some litigation involved. Attendance at some meetings and/or hearings outside of traditional working hours required. One to two years relevant experience is preferred, but new graduates will also be considered. New graduates must have sat for the Ohio Bar Examination in July 2022. Other candidates must be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio or be able to become licensed in the State of Ohio with a reasonable amount of time. License(s) to practice before the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts for Ohio is/are helpful, but not required. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits.
